Time to say goodbye to that (unfortunately), as Maybank has announced all <a href=\"https:\/\/www.comparehero.my\/banking-finance\/articles\/digital-payments-malaysia\">eWallet<\/a> reloads will not be eligible for such benefits, effective 8th July.<\/p> \n<!--more--><h2>What does this mean?<\/h2> \n<p>This means that Maybank cardholders who actively use eWallets will no longer be able to reap <a href=\"https:\/\/www.comparehero.my\/credit-card\/articles\/use-credit-cards-responsibly\">credit card benefits<\/a> when reloading their eWallets.<\/p> \n<p>For example, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.comparehero.my\/credit-card\/card-information?productId=MY.CH.CC.MAYB0002.Maybank2GoldCard\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Maybank 2 Gold Card American Express<\/a> offers up to 5X rewards points and 5% cashback on weekends.
