ICYMI, Apple Pay is now officially available in Malaysia! The mobile payment service that launched today, 9th August 2022 allows consumers to perform contactless payment through their iOS devices such as iPhone, Apple Watch, iPad, and Mac. <\/p>\n

Introducing Apple Pay.<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n An easier, safer and more secure way to pay for everything you need, be in-store, in apps or on the web, Apple Pay brings added speed and convenience to one\u2019s daily life. <\/p>\n <\/p>\n \u201cWe are delighted to bring Apple Pay to Malaysia, providing an easier, safer, and more secure way to pay with iPhone, Apple Watch, iPad, and Mac. For Ambank and Standard Chartered Bank, only credit cards are supported while Maybank supports credit, debit and prepaid cards. <\/p>\n <\/p>\n What About Security & Privacy? <\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n If you\u2019re worried about security and privacy, not to fret, because Apple Pay features industry-leading protection of f users\u2019 personal information, transaction data, and credit and debit card information. <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Your credit and debit card numbers will not be stored on devices or on Apple serves, instead, a unique Device Account Number is assigned, encrypted, and securely stored in the Secure Element on the user\u2019s device, and each transaction is authorised with a one-time unique dynamic security code. It also doesn\u2019t retain any transaction information. <\/p>\n <\/p>\n How To Use Apple Pay In-Stores? <\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n Simply hold iPhone or Apple Watch near the contactless terminal, and authenticate using Face ID or Touch ID.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n For Transactions On Safari<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n Customers can use Apple Pay without having to create an account, key in a PIN, fill out lengthy forms, or repeatedly type in shipping and billing information.
