How The Islamic principle of Commodity Murabahah works?

  1. Standard Chartered Saadiq makes a purchase of commodities from approved brokers
  2. Commodities that are purchased will now be sold to you at a price inclusive of a fixed profit margin, in a deferred payment arrangement
  3. Upon completion of sales, Standard Chartered Saadiq sells the commodities to approved brokers, effectively acting as your agent
  4. The proceeds from the transaction will be deposited into your designated Standard Chartered Saadiq account
