Fees and Charges

The Public Islamic Bank Gold Mastercard Credit Card-i offers the following fees and charges:

  • Annual fee (principal): First year waived. Subsequent years are waived with a minimum of 12 retail swipes over the preceding 12 months.
  • Annual fee (supplementary): First year waived. Subsequent years are waived with a minimum of 12 retail swipes over the preceding 12 months.
  • Government Service Tax: RM25 per card upon activation and every anniversary thereafter.
  • Cash withdrawal fee: 5% of the amount withdrawn or RM20, whichever is higher.
  • Cash withdrawal profit rate: 18% p.a., calculated from the transaction date until full settlement.
  • Late payment charge: 1% of the outstanding balance, subject to a minimum of RM10 and a maximum of RM100.
  • Minimum monthly payment: RM50 or 5% of the outstanding balance, whichever is higher.

Retail transactions are subject to tiered profit rates of 15% p.a., 17% p.a. or 18% p.a., depending on your repayment behaviour.
