How are Agrobank AgroCash-i monthly instalments paid?

Monthly Agrobank AgroCash-i instalments are deducted directly from the applicant's salary account via Biro Perkhidmatan Angkasa (BPA).

Early settlement of Agrobank AgroCash-i personal financing is allowed with zero penalties, and Agrobank grants an Ibra' (rebate) in such cases. Since monthly payments are automatically deducted from the salary account, there is a processing period required to stop these deductions after early settlement. This means an extra payment may still be deducted even after the loan has been fully settled. Any excess amount deducted is refunded.

Further details on Agrobank AgroCash-i are available in the Product Disclosure Sheet and Terms and Conditions of this product.

Is Takaful coverage required for Agrobank AgroCash-i?

Takaful coverage is optional for Agrobank AgroCash-i applicants. Applicants are encouraged to sign up for the Takaful Credit Scheme to cover the liability of indebtedness in the event of death or permanent disablement.

Can a blacklisted applicant apply for Agrobank AgroCash-i?

There is no official "blacklist" in Malaysia. Credit information — including outstanding credit card, personal loan, home loan, or car loan debts — is captured in CCRIS and CTOS, which are credit reporting systems rather than blacklisting systems.

Applicants with poor credit standing due to irregular payments are advised to make consistent, on-time payments going forward, as this improves the likelihood of future Agrobank AgroCash-i approval.

Agrobank is more likely to approve an AgroCash-i personal loan application from applicants who show responsible management of personal finances rather than accumulating additional debt.
