Tap To Win Gold With Your Alliance Bank Visa Credit Card
Alliance Bank is giving away six 10g customised gold bars every month from 7 October 2026 until 31 March 2027. To take part, link your Alliance Bank Visa credit card to Apple Pay, Google Pay or Samsung Pay and use it to pay in shops or online. Each RM100 you spend earns one entry into that month’s draw. Entries don’t carry over, so everyone starts from zero again each month. The full rules are in the Tap For Gold terms and conditions.
Pay By Card Instead Of Cash With The Alliance Bank Visa Basic Credit Card
The Alliance Bank Visa Basic is a simple credit card for everyday spending. You can use it in shops and online, so you don’t need to carry as much cash or keep going to the ATM.
You can manage the card through online banking and get your statements by email instead of by post.
Interest-Free Period And Minimum Payment
You get 20 days to pay for your purchases without interest. If you don’t pay your bill in full, the bank charges interest of 14% a year (1.17% a month) on what you still owe. Interest is worked out every day until you clear the balance.
If you can’t pay the full bill, you must pay at least 5% of what you owe. If 5% is less than RM50, you pay RM50. For example, if you owe RM600, your minimum payment is RM50.
Late Payment Fee
If you don’t make the minimum payment by the due date, you pay a late fee of 1% of what you owe. The fee is at least RM10 and no more than RM100. If you owe RM3,000, the late fee is RM30. You still pay interest on top of this.
Cash Withdrawal Fee And Limit
You can take out cash at any ATM with the Visa logo. Each withdrawal costs 1.25% of the amount, or RM3 if that’s more. Taking out RM500 costs RM6.25.
How much cash you can take out depends on your credit limit. Your credit limit is RM20,000 or twice your monthly income, whichever is lower.
Free Supplementary Cards
You can get extra cards for family members aged 18 and above for free.
