If you don’t already know, Grab users are entitled to hold different types of memberships such as a normal member, silver, gold and platinum. With your Maybank Grab Mastercard Platinum card, you’ll automatically hold the Grab Platinum tier, which is the highest tier, where multiple benefits are offered for the first 6 months.
You can opt to continue as long as you meet the necessary requirements. Some of the said benefits include having priority over other passengers, cheaper rates for times when you need a ride to the airport, as well as having the ability to receive GrabRewards Points much faster than others. You need to have a minimum monthly income of RM3,000 to be eligible for this credit card. As for the age requirement, you need to be at least 21 years old and above for the principal card or 18 years old and above for the supplementary card.
Whether you are a principal or supplementary cardholder, there will be no annual fees charged to your Maybank Grab Mastercard Platinum card.
There are no annual fees of sales and service tax charges applied. However, there is a fee if you want to perform a cash advance which is 5% or RM18 from the total amount with an interest rate of 18% per year.
