After more than two years of closure and strict border measures, you can now travel to Japan freely starting 11th October 2022! This was announced by Prime Minister Fumio Kishida during a news conference in New York back in 22nd September 2022.
Officially removing its daily cap of 50,000 people, tourists are now able to travel independently instead of travelling with authorized tour groups. Not only that, selected countries will enjoy Visa exemptions - yes, that includes Malaysia!
