Travelling abroad can sometimes be such a hassle, especially when you’re not able to pay when travel accidents or other inconveniences occur. With the BSN 1 TeachersCard Mastercard, you can receive up to RM100,000 insurance coverage. However, you have to purchase the total flight tickets with your BSN 1 TeachersCard Mastercard.
The travel insurance coverage includes up to RM600 for missed connection flights, RM600 for flight delays (if it’s more than 6 hours), delayed luggages (more than 6 hours) or lost luggages (more than 48 hours) for up to RM1,600 each.
Aside from that, the BSN 1 TeachersCard Mastercard also offers a membership registration fee waiver to become a member of YGMB (Yayasan Guru Malaysia Berhad). On top of that, 0.2% of your total spendings will be donated to them as well.

You have to be an employee or teacher under the Ministry of Education, lecturers in public/ private institutions of Higher Education or MARA Junior Science College (MRMS). Aside from that, you also have to be earning a minimum monthly income amount of RM2,000.
No, there will not be any annual fees charged to principal or supplementary cardholders. All cardholders wouldn’t have to meet any conditions or requirements to be exempted for the annual fees.
If you withdraw cash with the BSN 1 TeachersCard Mastercard, you have to pay a fee of 5% of the total amount withdrawn or RM10. There will also be a late payment fee of RM10 or 1% of the overdue amount, going up to a maximum amount of RM75. All cardholders will be charged a sales and service tax fee of RM25 once you’ve successfully activated your card as well as on the card anniversary date.
