Unlimited cashback for all your spending

It doesn’t matter what you spend on, you’ll be able to get some cash back for your transactions made locally or internationally. For local transactions, you’ll receive 1% back. As for international transactions, you’ll get 1.5% back. As mentioned earlier, the cashback is unlimited, meaning you can receive as much cash back as you wish for all your spending.

There’s no monthly minimum amount of spending required as well, so you’ll earn some cash back with just as low as RM10. The cashback earned is based on one single transaction. For instance, if you spend RM599 locally, the cash back earned is 1%, hence the total would be RM5.99. You can see your cashback being automatically credited to your account.

Note: You will not earn cash back for transactions made for utilities, government services or EzyPay.

Low annual fees

With only RM70 a year for principal cardholders and RM45 for supplementary cardholders, you won’t have trouble paying it off every year. The plus side is that it will be waived for the first year, which applies to both principal and two (2) supplementary cards, once you have signed up for the Maybank American Express Cash Back Gold card. With the amount of cashback earned through your spending, you’ll get to pay the annual fee.

Maybank Online Acquisition Flash Deal 2025 Credit Card Campaign

Ready for some exciting rewards? Maybank is having a special online promotion for new credit cards this August!

From 1 August to 31 August 2025, when you apply for a Maybank credit card online, you could win a RM20 cash prize or a brand-new Nintendo Switch 2! This campaign is open to both new and existing Maybank customers. Terms and conditions apply.

Who Can Join?

To be eligible, you need to meet these simple criteria:

• - You must be a Malaysian citizen living in Malaysia and be at least 21 years old.
• - You cannot already have a Maybank credit card (Mastercard, Visa, or American Express).
• - You must apply for one or more Maybank credit cards through the Maybank2u website or the MAE app and upload all the necessary documents.

Who isn't eligible?

This offer doesn't apply to Maybank Group employees, certain business account types, or anyone who cancelled a Maybank credit card in the last six months and is now reapplying.

How Do I Win the Prizes?

Good news! You're automatically entered into the campaign just by applying for a credit card during the promotion period. No extra forms are needed!

For the RM20 Cash Prize:

Be one of the first 200 customers to apply each week! A total of 800 winners will be selected throughout August on a first-come, first-served basis.

• - How will I know if I won? You'll get a push notification on your MAE app within 90 days after the campaign ends, right after the cash prize has been credited to your account.
• - Important: You need an active Maybank Savings Account to receive the prize. If your account is inactive or closed, the prize will be forfeited.

For the Nintendo Switch 2:

There are 16 Nintendo Switch 2 consoles up for grabs! To qualify for the lucky draw, you need to:

• - Spend a minimum of RM300 on your new credit card within 30 days of its approval date. This can be a single purchase or multiple smaller ones.
• - The winners will be chosen randomly by Maybank's system.
• - If you're a winner, Maybank will call you to confirm the delivery details. They'll try to contact you three times on the same day before selecting someone else.

Important Things to Note

• - Even if you apply for multiple cards, you only get one entry and can only win one prize.
